So I’ve had this blog for about a year and a half now and I’m quite honestly not sure what to do with it. For the first 6 months I was pretty good about posting regularly, but for the past year not so much. It began as sort of a scrapbook of things that I enjoyed and inspired me that I wanted to share with anyone who was interested. Also it was an ongoing creative update of projects I was working on. I would like to bring these things back as well as make it a little more personal. By that I don’t mean writing things that the internet doesn’t need to know, but actually including myself more in this process. I realized the other day I have absolutely no pictures of myself on this blog. Most of the blogs I follow I enjoy because the blogger includes photos and stories from their life not just what they are doing creatively. I really don’t write much here, it’s mainly about imagery, and I would like to change that as well. So let’s shake this thing a little bit.

FilmLove
Yesterday I was privileged to take a little trip with Mr and Mrs Watson to Sedona and Jerome. We had a lovely time, it was a bit hotter than I had hoped, but it was fun indeed. Upon packing I couldn't decide how many cameras to bring. I knew I wanted to bring my new Nikon, but I also wanted to bring a film camera or two. I decided I really needed to get to know my new awesome digital camera, so I should only bring that. Adam ended up bring his Pentax 1000K film camera and as he began shooting I majorly regreted not bringing one of my film cameras. When we reached Sedona I decided to purchase some film at the local grocery and Adam graciously let me use his sexy 1000K. The results are below, and the verdict is that I am still madly in love with film. I know that once I really get to know my new digital SLR, my mind might change slightly, but I really do think I will always favor film.
